This was NEVER the Dan Glidewell of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard.Â
This is the REAL Daniel Thomas Glidewell. He was Gypsy-Rose’s original obsession.Â
This is the man she went to see in a hospital where she knocked on her neighbours doors asking for a ride so she can visit him, this is the man she wanted to run away with her binder of ID’s in tow. This proves that Gypsy had means to ask for help and could stand and walk away at a minute’s notice, but she chose not to.Â
Like Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, Dan Glidewell was very active during VisionCon (he even goes back attending VisionCon back in 2001) and even helped ran it, he was also an esteemed member of the VisionCon group.Â
This is the REAL Dan Glidewell whose number Gyspy has memorised during her interrogation.Â
This is the Dan Glidewell that Gypsy wanted to meet up for coffee and wanted to say goodbye when she was with Nick after killing her mother.Â
History
Gypsy has often claimed that she met Daniel Thomas Glidewell back during VisionCon 2011, but our research shows that is false. Gypsy met Dan during VisionCon 2009 and we have the pics to prove it. In fact, we know Gypsy had an almost perfect attendance in VisionCon, except in 2012.Â
Although Gypsy has claimed that it was Nick who introduced her to the world of BDSM, we are confident that it was Gypsy who introduced both Nick and Dan Glidewell to the world of BDSM.Â
Dan was deeply interested in RPG and LARP, he even took part of a LARP performance back during VisionCon 2009.Â
We call Dan as Gypsy’s obsession because this girl was relentless that she even stayed in touch even though he was in a serious. relationship back then, see screenshots.Â
In fact, she even went as far as introducing herself to his friends before meeting Nick.
To make matters worse, Dan was married at this time and even had kids. Though we are unsure if the couple reconciled, we can say we understand why his ex-wife wouldn’t have taken him back.

Dan played a pivotal role in Gypsy’s life both as a friend and romantic interest, she saw her as a potential partner though this did not last long. Gypsy saw Dan as her confidant and shared many stories and fantasies with him.Â
They shared a lot of similarities from role playing to deviant sexual acts.Â

In this section, we will be comparing and dispelling rumours on how Dan Glidewell in popular culture.
- In her memoir, My Time to Stand, chapter 8 – Gypsy talks about Dan and how she added him as friends online. Dan reminded her that he was the ”drunk guy” that bumped into her wheelchair during VisionCon. She and Dan spent months talking to each other, with Gypsy exploring what she would be like if she was able to grow out her hair, try out new restaurants, what concerts she could go to, and what kind of kisser would she be like if she saw Dan. Gypsy also shares that this was when she found her Medicaid card that showed her real age, and where Dan told her: ”If this is true, you don’t have to stay with her. You can start a new life”.Â
Present Day
Around Oct 2024, Bri shared that Gypsy told her that she and Dan were in contact with each other, and that Dan misses her.Â
A content creator, Trixie Lane, claims to debunk this by showing screenshots of Dan telling her that he no longer associates with the likes of Gypsy.Â
