Gypsy-Rose Alcida Blanchard (formerly Anderson; born July 27, 1991) is an American woman who rose to worldwide prominence when she was convicted of second-degree murder in Springfield, Missouri, for the death of her mother, Claudinnea Dee Dee Blanchard.
Gypsy-Rose dealt with numerous health problems as a child that caused her mother to start scams. It wasn’t until in 2011 when she was officially diagnosed with Mircrodeletion 1Q21.1 and it was revealed that this chromosome disorder contributed to her health problems.
